Be You

People tell me all the time what diets they need to be on, who's doing what weight loss program and routine, how much weight and reps I should be lifting...no, forget that, do what works best for YOU! I'm always told "Girls shouldn't lift heavy, they should lift light and do a lot of reps!" Well you know what? Some days I want to lift some heavy shit so I just go and do it! I've done my research, I've put in my time measuring, counting, weighing...blah blah blah. Now I listen to my body, eat right, splurge at times, lift what I want when I want, do cardio without following a program, and I'm extremely happy with my results. I'm not where I want to be and never will be, because my goals are always changing, when I achieve one goal I quickly move on to the next! It keeps my life fun and works! I listen to my body and only do what my body wants. Do your research on clean eating, conform it to what fits you, find exercises you love, take classes for cardio if you want something fun and motivating and also extremely beneficial, and lift some heavy shit! Today I was on cloud nine- I'm happy and love the life I've made for myself. Your body is your temple, take care of it, don't poison it with too much consumption of anything toxic, better yet don't consume anything toxic what so ever! See what happens!!! Eat right, drink right, work your ass off and be smart. Listen to your body. Watch for changes big or small. You may not see results within a day, week or maybe just something small in a month- if it feels right keep it up and you'll be there! Do you, be whatever the hell you want and be your own inspiration!
TODAY- January 11, 2014
I have curves but am healthy. I'm happy with myself and proud of where I've come the past few months.

Not huge changes, different angles. But I take progress pictures of muscle groups and whole self. This is strictly for self motivation, to watch my cuts and gains to be able to witness my own improvement. This helps me more than anything!

Fudge Bites

I had one intense work out today, and for some reason when I left the gym I immediately craved chocolate...was I going to deprive myself of my craving? Hell no, I was going to indulge my fresh burning muscles into some amazing chocolate heaven that I knew I could throw together and also make healthy and clean. These bad mama jamamas are seriously just a girls best friend, fudgey, chocolate, delicious, moist...pretty much every amazing and delicious adjective you can think of or ever want to put into your face. Anyways, here's the recipe.

Oven= 350*
Snag yourself 2 bowls, one for wet ingredients, one for dry.

Dry Ingredients:
-Whisk together 3Tbs raw unsweetened cocoa.

-1Tbs Dark chocolate chips (i use the minis, you get more in a TBS, therefor making them spread out more to ensure each bite has chocolate in it.)

-1/4c Whole Wheat Flour

-1/2c rolled oats (food process into flour)

-3-4packs of stevia

Wet Ingredients:
-1 Package of Unsweetened organic apple sauce

-1/4c almond milk (the one that is only 30 calories a cup)

-1 1/2tsp coconut oil

-1Tbs Almond Butter

-10 to 15 drops of Stevia Chocolate flavoring

Mix wet and dry ingredients together.

Finally:
-Onto a cookie sheet, scoop out 22 even sized dough balls
*I used a cookie dough scooper*
-Bake on 350* for 9-10minutes

*NOTE: Stevia is an organic, all natural, zero calorie sweetener. Derived from the Stevia plant.

Banana, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Pancakes!

I'm writing my blog from a very unique and interesting place. My gyms sauna. I don't want to forget the recipe I just made though! Hurry quick, quick! These are Banana, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk Pancakes! They are EXTREMELY delicious, lean and clean!

Recipe:
-1/2 mashed banana

-1/2c oats (measure out 1/2c then turn it into oat flour by using a food processor)

-1egg white

-2Tbs PB2 Peanut Butter (look it up, not your average peanut butter)

-1Tbs water

-1tsp dark chocolate chips

Mix all of this together, consistency will by thick.

Pour into a pan, I was able to make three, once the bottoms got a bit solid I topped it off with the rest of the mixture to make them extra thick, then wait 30sec to a minute. Finally flip em, cook em, eat em!

These are AMAZING! I drizzled a tiny bit of Agave Nectar on top to get a bit extra sweetness. ENJOY!!!
