Running

I recently set a goal for myself to complete a half marathon. This was a huge challenge and I did it!!! I love to set goals and accomplish them! It's one of the best feelings ever and it is truly a reminder that I can do anything I set my mind to!!! To any runners or even non-runners who are interested in completing a half marathon...GO FOR IT! It's tough but after every long run you accomplish you feel as though you just mastered a new level in life! Now, running outside is so different then running on a treadmill. Not saying that there's anything wrong with running on a treadmill, it's just different! A treadmill is great for setting speeds to do sprints, and setting inclines! There are so many wonderfully fabulous amazing workouts one can do on treadmills! However, when training for a half marathon or any out doors race...RUN OUTSIDE!

Now...when training or wanting to make a healthier life style change...DIET IS EVERYTHING! Of course we'll have our off days. ALWAYS REMEMBER HOWEVER WHAT YOU PUT IN IS WHAT YOU'LL GET OUT. I mean this by
Eating crap for breakfast and lunch and then attempting to work out and/or run--you WILL NOT be at your best. I GUARANTEE THAT! I swear by this yall!!! There are so many delicious and health recipes out there! And its NOT ONLY what you eat its how often and how MUCH you eat! There's a science to all of this!!! It's so important!!! No crash diets or eliminations of food groups will work (if they do it is only for a short period of time.)

If you're un happy with yourself whether it be appearance, the way you feel why not just change it? The hardest part is starting, once you make it a habit it's so easy! Don't beat yourself up if you mess up and eat 10 oreos! Messing up every so often WILL NOT make you gain 100lbs.
