THANK THE LORD FOR PROTEIN!

Protein = fuel

Here's a picture of my snack I packed to give me the energy I need for a successful run after work!

When you eat protein, let it digest and then go on to your work out...it's pretty much like a legal version of steroids. You can run faster, jump higher, and feel better. Protein can help your muscles repair themselves, as muscles are repairing they're growing! More muscle=more calories burned during the day, also more calories burned during your work outs!

HOWEVER protein in itself CAN work against you! Protein is not as useful if you're not exercising! If you DON'T exercise, you still need protein, just not as much!
Too much protein+No work out=FAT!

If you figure out how much protein your body needs to intake you will stay fuller way longer, and have loads of extra energy. =]
